To provide top notch customer service for our territory, we are extending our seasonal hours of operation. The 90° rule is now a standard operating procedure!

Any day that the temperature hits 90°, all of our stores will remain open until 6:00pm. Stores will re-open the following day at 6:00am. (Saturday openings will be in effect, but closing at regular time. Sundays are excluded from opening)

Should the temperature hit 90° on an early opening day, the procedure remains in effect and stores will remain open until 6:00pm. All Carrier & Bryant TM’s will arrive at your stores to assist during this time.

This rule is based on the temperature at our Corporate headquarters in Philadelphia, not by the individual store.

Bryant Hydronic Coils Phase-Out

In Memory Of

It is with deepest sorrow that we inform you of the passing of John Hentkowski Sr. (Hentkowski, Inc. located in Wilmington, DE). John suffered a stroke on December 19th and was not able to recover. We thank John for all the years of leadership and knowledge he has given to the HVAC industry. We at Peirce-Phelps will miss John’s patronage and kind hearted support. Please keep his family in your thoughts.

Update: Funeral has been postponed due to the weather. It has been rescheduled for Wednesday the 29th. Visitation will be from 10:00am – 12:30pm at Spicer Mullikin 121 W. Park Place in Newark, De, internment will follow at Cathedral Cemetery on the Kirkwood Highway.

UPDATE on the Dry R-22, 13 SEER Units

As of mid January, Peirce-Phelps, will be stocking the new dry R-22 condensing units (cooling-only and heat pumps), in all locations. If you’re looking for more information on these units, refer to bulletin PA-103-10-15.

As prescribed by the EPA final rule, these units may only be used as a repair component for existing applications. They will be ‘dry charged’ with nitrogen and require a field charge of R-22 refrigerant.

Introduction of Dry R-22 Units
